Tanya like so many other angry citizens like to blame others without knowing all the facts. The Bush administration is to blame for many things, but this problem was created and supported by the Clinton and Obama Democrats.
Now the Democratic congress keeps voting to take over companies and soon we will have a socialist society where you can't sneeze without asking the Government for permission.

There is plenty of blame to go around. It was Bill Clinton that signed the repeal of Glass Steagal that deregulated the finanicial indurstry. It was the democrats who fought the repulicans for years in support of Freddie and Fannie, saying that everyone should achieve the American Dream of owning their own home. Wrong...there is nothing bad about being a renter if that is all one can realistically afford.
Lenders are also to blame for being too lenient in their lending and many (not all) borrowers should have known better and not over extended themselves. A few lied or bent the truth on their mortgage applications.
So let's be honest here....there is plenty of blame to go all around!!!
Love your 9/22 post. You are so right. This is a failure of republican ideology. I think its clear that people, voters, are starting to get that.
